Why PATH?
™
PATH stands for
Power Audition Technique Honing™.
Created by actor and coach Greg Sims, PATH™ is a practical acting and auditioning technique developed over more than 25 years of working with actors—from actors just beginning their training to working professionals.
PATH™ was built around a simple idea: give actors a process they can actually use to build sustainable, joyful careers.
A repeatable way to approach a script, make choices, take direction, and work naturally on camera—without teaching them to manufacture emotion or imitate someone else’s idea of a character.
For young actors, that means learning real craft while also learning to trust what is already naturally compelling about them: their instincts, imagination, point of view, responses, and humanity.
The technique provides the structure. The structure creates the freedom.
A Process They Can Actually Use
01|APPROACH
Know how to get into a script instead of guessing where to begin.
02|CHOOSE
Make specific, playable choices instead of searching for the “right” performance.
03|CONNECT
Listen, respond, and let what’s happening affect the work.
04|ADJUST
Take direction and make new choices without losing yourself in the process.
The Work Speaks for Itself.
Bookings. Academic Growth.
Developing careers. Young actors finding their footing.

PATH ACTORS ARE WORKING

What They'll Actually Do
SCRIPT + SCENE WORK
Break down real material, make playable choices, rehearse, and work scenes with other actors.
LISTENING + RESPONDING
Learn to work with another actor—to listen, pursue something, respond, and allow what happens in the scene to affect the work.
DIRECTION + ADJUSTMENTS
Take a note, make a change, try another choice, and develop the flexibility expected of actors in auditions and on set.
IMPROV + CREATIVE PLAY
Use improvisation and creative exercises to strengthen spontaneity, instinct, imagination, and connection.
ON-CAMERA WORK
Work regularly on camera with scenes, audition sides, and self-tape material while learning framing, eyelines, readers, and camera awareness.
LIVE CAMERA + PLAYBACK
Watch scene work unfold on camera in real time, see how choices and adjustments change the work, and learn from watching one another—both live and in playback.
THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE TRAINING
PATH FOR KIDS
IS NEW.
PATH IS NOT.
PATH for Kids & Teens brings together decades of professional acting, coaching, filmmaking and actor development—and adapts that experience specifically for young actors.

A Space to Work and Create
Our Johns Creek/Alpharetta classes train in a spacious, creative environment built for the way we work—on camera, on our feet, with scene partners, and together as an ensemble. There’s room to explore, take risks, watch the work back, and keep growing.
